GENERAL INFORMATION OF INTEREST

Joined UN 28 Sep 1950. By letter of 20 Jan 1965, Indonesia announced its decision to withdraw from the UN "at this time and under the present circumstances". By telegram of 19 Sep 1966, it announced its decision to resume full cooperation with the UN. On 28 Sep 1966, the UN General Assembly invited representatives to rejoin theAssembly.
